Registration -- 15th CONTECSI - Conditions for PARTICIPATION

What is the registration? Is the  step in which the participant pays the amount due to the enrolment in the conference

When making the registration to participate in the 15th CONTECSI USP-International Conference on Information Systems and Technology Management, the PARTICIPANT accepts  the conditions detailed below

1-General conditions for participation

1.1-The PARTICIPANT is liable for the veracity of the information registered  in the application form.

1.2-The PARTICIPANT accepts that the benefits offered by the conference derives from the effective and regular participation during the three days of the event as well as accepting the schedule established for the presentation of the paper and other activities listed in the Conference program

1.3-The PARTICIPANT accepts the rules of security, access, use and handling of equipment belonging to the FEA-Faculty of Economics, Administration and Accountancy   (FEA-USP), and striving for the smooth running of the conference activities. .

1.4-The PARTICIPANT registration will be effective when received by CONTECSI of deposit slip sent to email: contecsi@usp.br . View values and entry in items 4 and 5 below. This item applies only to Brazilian participants.

1.5- the value of the inscription gives the PARTICIPANT the  access to all official activities of the 15th CONTECSI, including parallel sessions, forums, doctoral and master consortia, poster presentations, six coffee breaks, three lunches, Conference Dinner, use of simultaneous translation equipment where applicable and Conference material. The material of the Conference includes folder, Book-Summary of conference proceedings, program and certificate of participation.

1.6-the registration is individual per participant and not per paper accepted. The registration refers to the set of items mentioned in 1.5 and offered to the participant during the event. It has to be paid in total.

2-Cancelation (this item applies only to Brazilian participants)

2.1 – the cancellation by the participant shall be formalized in writing and sent to the email:contecsi@usp.br until 20 April 2018. In this case 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. 
After this date no cancellation will be possible and there will be no reimbursement.

2.2-If the registered participant cannot attend, a substitute, and only one, is welcome. To this end, the participant enlisted must send notification to the coordination of CONTECSI, email: contecsi@usp.brexplaining the reason for the replacement and submit a letter of authorization, along with a letter of cancellation to the Secretariat of the Conference before 12 may 2018. This information must include the name of the substitute, RG and full address. All cancellations must be made in writing (mail or email) for coordination of CONTECSI: (contecsi@usp.br ).

2.3-applicants who do not cancel until the date mentioned in 2.1 and not attending the Conference, still be liable for payment of the registration fee.

3 – Changes in CONTECSI

3.1- The coordination reserves the right to change the location of the Conference as well as the program, if it is necessary for the smooth running of the event.

3.2-If the 15th CONTECSI does not take place or is postponed due to events outside the control of the organizers of the Conference (force majeure *), or due to events which are not attributable to wilful misconduct or negligence of the organizers of the Conference, the Conference Organizers will not be liable for any damages, costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses or any other indirect or consequential losses. In these circumstances, the Conference Organizers reserve the right to retain the registration fee and use it for a future Conference, or to reimburse the participant after deducting all costs already incurred with the Organization of the Conference and that can not  be recovered from third parties.

6- PAYMENT   (applies only to foreign participants)

 

 

PAYMENT FOR FOREIGN PARTICIPANTES CAN BE MADE IN CASH AT THE REGISTRATION DESK WHEN ARRIVING TO THE CONFERENCE VENUE.

 

IF THE FOREIGN PARTICIPANT PREFERS TO PAY BY BANK TRANSFER, PLEASE SEND EMAIL TO  contecsi@usp.br  ASKING  FOR THE IBAN AND SWIFT CODES.

 

7-Right to use on image and voice

The images and the participant's voice can be recorded during the Conference. These records and the name of the Participant may be used free of charge by the USP-Universidade de São Paulo, CNPJ No. 63,025,530/0001-04 by any means, nationwide and internationally, without time limit, provided that the uses are related to announcements and information about CONTECSI.
